A 22cm mid/woofer, the same as in Edena Evolution. This driver size remains very rare in this type of speaker, but it is one of the key elements of this model’s performance
“Isotactic Matrix” cone technology and a powerful Excel magnetic circuit
This custom design driver made by Seas in Norway for Apertura is modified in our facility with the addition of a copper ring and a machined brass phase plug
AMT « Air Motion Transformer » tweeter. Although this technology is not new, it has made tremendous progress in recent years and now rivals our favorite ribbon driver technology.
AMT tweeter from Mundorf – mounted on a massive machined front plate with a short horn loading
The tweeter is offset, and diffraction is damped using a piece of wool felt

Proprietary « DRIM » structure with a triple attenuation slopes and phase control over the entire bandwidth.
High end components from Jantzen :
- Heavy gauge baked inductors
- Highend Polypropylene capacitors
Hand wired on a 140 µm copper thickness printed circuit board.
Optimized crossover structure to avoid magnetic interference between components
Each set of drive units (tweeter and mid/woofers) are individually measured and crossover values adjusted according to these sets’ measurements.a

The vent tube of the bass-reflex loading has an optimized location as close as possible to the bass driver
