Trigon Vanguard celebrates its 20th anniversary with the third generation of its first audio component, the legendary Vanguard phono preamplifier. The Vanguard III continues this enduring tradition at a new sonic level, offering optimal operating conditions for high-quality MC and MM cartridges. The completely redesigned circuitry not only delivers best-in-class performance in all aspects of music reproduction, but also a new level of musical experience. To ensure the Vanguard III can fully realize its sonic superiority with virtually any cartridge, the proven range of adjustment options remains unchanged: 16 gain stages, 3 switchable capacitances, and 25 resistance settings should leave nothing to be desired. The new external power supply provides even greater power delivery.
The refined exterior reflects the internal development. The new front panel, crafted from solid brushed aluminum and black glass, is therefore not merely aesthetic, but also functionally functional. The black glass front serves as a touchscreen for selecting the Vanguard III’s operating modes. The now screwless, side-enclosing chassis, made of solid steel, embodies not only a minimalist, elegant design, but also contributes to mechanical stability and minimizes external influences. The new solid, hard-gold-plated RCA connectors improve the transmission of delicate phono signals.
